General information on the use of cookies

We can provide users of our websites with more user-friendly services by using cookies. This is not possible without the use of cookies. We optimise our information and offers based on data collected via cookies. We use the cookies to fill the shopping cart and continue to display the goods in the shopping cart during any later use of the website. Cookies make it possible to automatically sign in when using the shop. It is possible to prevent the general use of cookies for our site through the settings of the browser used. You can also delete cookies already in use via a corresponding browser function.

It may be that parts of the website cannot be used without the use of cookies or only to a limited extent.

Information on special cookies

On our website we use different cookies to analyse the use of the website and to promote our products in a targeted manner. We use technologies from different providers for this (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Trusted Shops, Pulse Point, SPOTX, VE Interactive,...).

Google cookies

Various cookies are used as part of the use of Google Analytics. These can change over time. Therefore, the following summarises the use of Google Analytics.

This website uses Google Analytics, from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)

Google Analytics allows data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to be assigned a pseudonymous user ID. This allows user activities to be analysed across devices.

These cookies, which are text files stored on your computer, enable the analysis of the use of this website. We use the 'IP anonymisation' function. Therefore, the data will be processed in a state of the EU or another state party to the Agreement within the EEA. In exceptional cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to a server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address provided by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Google evaluates the submitted data on our behalf and provides us with reports on website activity and usage. In addition, Google provides additional services related to website activity and Internet usage. Data processing for this purpose falls within our legitimate interest. The legal basis here is Sec. 15(3) TMG [German telemedia act] or point F of Art. 6(1) GDPR. The data collected by the cookies in this way are automatically deleted once a month after 14 months.

You can configure the management of cookies in the settings of your browser software.

You can prevent the processing of data by Google by using the opt-out cookie (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). To do this you need to download and install the browser add-on. If you want to do this across multiple devices, you will need to install this add-on on all of them.

Piwik (Matomo)

Our website uses Piwik. This is what is known as a web analytics service. Piwik uses what are known as 'cookies'. These are text files that are stored on your computer that allow us to analyse the use of the website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which enables us to optimise the website. Your IP address will be immediately anonymised during this process so that you remain anonymous to us as a user.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will not be disclosed to third parties. You can prevent the use of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, it may be the case that you cannot fully use all functions of this website if you do this. If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of these data from your visit, then you can object to the future storage and use at any time by a simple mouse click. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which will prevent Piwik from collecting any session data:

Warning: If you delete your cookies, this will result in the opt-out cookie being deleted and you may need to activate it again.
