How to find us

Breisach am Rhein is located close to Freiburg in South West Germany. It occupies an idyllic position in the Kaiserstuhl hills, tucked between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains – in the tri-border region of Germany, France and Switzerland.

Approach from the German side of the Rhine:

Exit the A 5 motorway (Karlsruhe-Basel) at junction 64, signposted ‘Bad Krozingen’. From here it is only 10 kilometres to Breisach. Take the B 31 in the direction of ‘Colmar/the French border’. Approximately 2 km before reaching Breisach, turn right towards ‘Riegel/Badischer Winzerkeller’ . Follow this road for about 2 km before turning left into Hafenstraße. You have reached your destination.

Approach from the French side of the Rhine:

Leave the A 35 motorway at Colmar, taking the N 415 towards the German border and following signs for “Freiburg/Breisach”. Cross the Rhine when you reach Breisach. Take the second exit off the roundabout and follow the B 31. At the first opportunity, turn left towards ‘Riegel/Badischer Winzerkeller’. After approx. 2 km take the first turning on the left. You are in Hafenstraße and have reached your destination – Erismann!
